			A fantastic event!

			As we have mentioned several times, OMM is hosting a series of business lunches which we believe will benefit our clients and their friends alike. The feedback from the recent event held in Marbella has been excellent.
			Business As a way of introducing ourselves to potential new clients, as well as providing more information to existing clients, OMM have been running a series of business lunches giving clients the opportunity to come along with their friends who may be interested in some of the services we have to offer. The latest event in Marbella has shown just how popular this type of event is! Response Whilst we have hosted several successful lunches in the past, the turnout for the most recent lunch at the Alanda Hotel in Marbella was excellent. In fact, demand was so high that several tables were squeezed in at the eleventh hour to ensure we could accommodate everone who wanted to attend. Eventually, we had to cap the numbers at 85 and we apologise to anyone who did not get on the list this time - don’t worry, you are top of the list for the next one!


Presentation The lunch began with an introduction to OMM from our Deputy Managing Director Robert Seaton who then introduced our guest speaker - Francesco Bertagnin of Marrache & Co. Francesco is head of Marrache & Co. in Spain, who are major international tax advisors. Francesco gave an overview of Spanish Taxation and how it applies to expatriates. Robert then covered some of the products OMM have available to offer including investment opportunities, the tax advantages of bonds and Inheritance Tax Planning before inviting questions for himself and Francesco.


			Lunch With all of the questions answered, lunch was served and thoroughly enjoyed by all. The attendees then had the opportunity to talk to representatives from OMM and Francesco from Marrache & Co. to address any more individual questions they had. This was obviously popular as it was early evening before the last invitees left - hopefully satisfied with what they heard! Feedback All attendees were asked to complete a feedback form at the lunch and there is no doubt from the comments received that the afternoon must be considered a major success. We look forward to hosting many more events in the future, both in Marbella and throughout Spain!
